Please read the article (by Premier Construction) for further information and photographs. On the Hadlow Estate there stood an 18th Century joinery workshop abundant in timber from the local woods. In the Victorian era a sawmill was erected and other brick buildings provided a place for craftsmen to fully use their skills, however since the 1990’s the yard became redundant. But, since then, Hadlow Estate and the Estate’s Manager realised the dilapidated buildings, still holding their aesthetically and architecturally significant features, could be restored and having engaged the Architect Clague and A.T.Palmer Ltd using a skilled workforce and traditional materials, installing breathable insulation to allow the original structure to once again become a bright and warm environment for artisans and craftsmen to produce their work.
